Company Policies
JP Linguistics is a limited liability company and is intended to provide the service of foreign language learning and consultation for its clientele. This includes Private Classes, Group Classes, Online Lessons, Corporate Classes, Cultural Programs & our additional services such as Translation, & Test Preparation + the sale of course material.
JP Linguistics prides itself on offering professional foreign language education and great customer service. The following pertains to all service transactions:
Payments -
All classes and services must be paid in full prior to the first session. We are happy to accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. You can now pay online using our online payment system!
Refunds -
Because JP Linguistics is a language service provider, we cannot offer refunds on our services. However, in the instance of Group Classes, if a class does not have the minimum amount of 4 students to open, JP Linguistics will offer a full refund or apply your purchase towards course credit at a later point -OR- purchaser may choose to apply this credit towards individual (one-on-one) Private Instruction in which classes will be tailored to their individual language goals and meeting times. The purchaser* will be offered the equivalent amount of hours for Private Instruction based on the total cost of the purchase.
*If classes are purchased as a gift, this will be applied to the person registered for the class.
Cancellation -
Cancellations and schedule changes are not permitted for Group Classes. If a registered student missed a class session, they will not be granted additional credits or 'make-up sessions.' Purchaser may however choose to schedule a private lesson at a preferential price.
To cancel or change appointments made for Private Lessons (either In Person or Online), a notice must be received 24 hours in advance. There is no extra charge or penalty for changing or canceling an appointment as long as the change is made 24 hours in advance. For cancellations or schedule changes for lessons on Mondays, a notice must be received by Friday before 4pm. Failure to properly cancel or change an appointment will result in being charged the full amount of the scheduled appointment. This means you will receive a confirmation back from us stating we received the change you requested.
Confidentiality -
Representatives of JP Linguistics take confidentiality very seriously. We understand the importance of privacy for our clients. Your name, contact, financial and other personal information will remain private within JP Linguistics and will not be shared publicly.
Non-Discrimination Policy -
JP Linguistics LLC does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, disability, gender, sexuality, and national or ethnic origin in the administration of its admissions, educational, or employment policies, and programs.
